It spins a starter up to 1000 mL, but will not spin with a larger volume than that. I tried to do a 2000 mL starter for my last batch and as soon as the solution started to spin my stir bar would "kick" and stop spinning. Any tips?. I have the occasional issue where it doesn't spin, but give it a little love tap and away it goes.The only thing I could think of is either a dodgy wiring connection somewhere, or it's a little too close to the plate and the magnetic force stops it from starting, if that makes sense.
